The Owner, Matt Stewart and family

“I personally don't think I could be in the position that I am in today without the support and encouragement I received in my early years from the people who cared about me and supported me.”

Matt Stewart began working on cars while attending Canby High School, taking an auto mechanic class and graduated in 1993. He moved on to work for local auto shops and dealerships, and in 2004, decided he would like to further his education.

Matt received his degree in automotive technology in 2006 and became ASE Master Technician Certified shortly after. In 2007, he seized the opportunity to open his own business and built up a reputation for being honest and doing high quality repairs for a fair price. Since then, the shop has had the opportunity to grow into 2 locations, taking over the Total Car Care Centers for Dan McGlone.

“I would have never been able to do this without my excellent staff and amazing customers.”

Matt has since started to give back to the community by giving a scholarship each year and speaking at the local college to inspire other students to reach for their goals. He has also been involved with the Portland Home Rebuilders Foundation to raise money and build shelters for at risk women and children.
